Troubleshooting Guide – FAQ
Below is a troubleshooting guide list for some of our well-known products.
Vividia VA-350 LCD Borescope:
Battery: After removing the battery panel from the handle with a screwdriver, make sure to insert all four batteries facing the correct direction and insert with the bottom tab facing out.
If for some reason, you do not get power to your device, you may want to try checking how well
Probe Connection: Make sure that your probe is connected firmly into the handle and that the device is screwed on firmly (Note: when screwing on the probe, it should go on smoothly and fully).
No Picture on Monitor: There are several scenarios that may cause the monitor not to show video.
No LED Lights: If the lighting on your device is not working, you can try,
VA-400/800/920/980/9150 Ablescope:
Locking and Unlocking: The articulating probe has two positions: Locked and Unlocked
When the wheel on the end of the handle is pressed in and turned in a clockwise direction, the scope is in an unlocked position. When the wheel is turned in a counter-clockwise position and gently pulled out, then it is in the locked position.
Releasing the scope from its locked position: Once the scope is locked into a certain position, it can only be unlocked by pressing the wheel towards the handle with your thumb and forefinger. This may require some pressure. Your Ablescope will now straighten back out to it’s original position. To put the scope in an unlocked position, please note the steps above.

Compatible Apps: For using your device on an Android Smartphone, the best app we have found to efficiently run the VA-400 or VA-800 Ablescope is called CameraFi and it is available for free on the Google Play App store.
Can it be used on Apple iPad or iPhone? : Unfortunately, Apple does not allow direct connection with external cameras at this time. We come up a WiFi converter box, VA-B2 AirBox. You can wirelessly connect Ablescopes to iPad/iPhone. Please visit our product page and watch related videos on YouTube.
My PC can not recognize the USB camera while the camera works on other computer/tablet/phone: The PC OS system's USB cameras registry may messed up. You can manually clear the registry from "Device Manager". Or use the below "ClearTool" software to clear all registries related to cameras. After completing clear action, re-plug your USB camera, and the PC should recognize USB cameras.

ViSee Magnifier 4.3 Magnifier with 10 Color Modes:
Battery: Insert the battery by removing the battery cover on the back of the magnifier. Make sure the leads of the battery are connecting to the leads on the magnifier. Make sure the battery is secure and put the cover back on.
How do I Charge? Make sure your battery is inserted into the magnifier. Plug the charging adapter into your magnifier and the usb into the wall charger. Plug into wall and look for a consistent, glowing, red light.
How long will my device be powered up after fully charging? : Your magnifier should hold a charge for about 3 to 4 hours of consistent use.

- The rubber camera cap is still attached to the probe.
- The monitor battery has not been charged.
- The monitor is not firmly affixed and connected to the handle. Turn off your borescope, then try reattaching the monitor to the handle and turn back on.
No LED Lights: If the lighting on your device is not working, you can try,
- Adjusting the light fading switch on your handle which controls the brightness of the lights.
- Checking the battery to make sure they are still good and connected well inside the handle.
- Check to make sure the protective cover to the probe is still not affixed.
- Flashing Screen: If your screen flashes while using your borescope, it is probable that the probe is not securely connected. Please turn off your unit and reconnect the probe. Make sure the connector is screwed in firmly.
