UM02A is the alternative to the original UM02, which was discontinued due to availability of some key parts. The key difference of UM02A is the product apperance is little bit different from that of UM02. Functions are the same.

You can also connect UM02 to an Android smart phones with OTG function, such as Samsung Galaxy and Note, with an OTG cable (not included), and use free APPs, such as "Mscopes" to view objects. UM02 is the smallest USB camera microscope with 2M pixels CMOS image sensor, and provides 320x magnification on a 22” monitor. It is the most versatile digital microscope in the market today. It has the ability to capture images in high magnifications, take standard photos, record videos, and can be used as a web camera. Moreover, this model includes powerful measurement function, which allows the user to input the magnification value from the microscope's zoom control, and directly measure the length, angle, circumference, and area of the object in view.
