The Vividia BlueEye (TM) G-610i/G-810i Semi-Rigid Visual Grabber are visual grabber borescopes designed to illuminate & document dark areas as well as retrieve objects. They can pick up items with both the grabber claws, controlled by the button at the end, and the removeable magnet ring. They are quality tools for technicians to avoid expensive teardowns by easily retrieving dropped objects through a small opening.

I was able to retrieve a dropped nut deep into the engine bay with the magnet. Fortunately, the Corvette doesn't have a lot of steel in that area so the magnet didn't catch on anything. Well worth the investment and a permanent tool in my garage.
