Limitation of the ultra slim fiberscope:
- The scope resolution (5,000 fibers total) is not high. When you magnify the fiberscope tip, the individual optical fibers (pixel) will show up.
- The ultra thin probe (0.35mm diameter) is not very sturdy. Easy to be damaged by physical forces, such as impact or folding.
- The cost to replace a new optical fiber probe is high. And it is almost impossible to repair a damaged probe.
