Vividia NP-0 Series Side-View 1.1mm to 2.8mm Flexible Small Diameter Video Borescope 5" Monitor Optical Fiber Lighting

These are the side-view flexible video borescopes of the NP-0 series. All options here have a side-view camera, and the probe tip diameter ranges from 1.1mm to 3.0mm:

• NP-0-1111S, side-view, 1.1mm / 0.043" diameter, 1.1m / 3.6ft long flexible probe
• NP-0-1811S, side-view, 1.8mm / 0.071" diameter, 1.1m / 3.6ft long flexible probe
• NP-0-3012S, side-view, 3.0mm / 0.118" diameter, 1.2m / 3.9ft long flexible probe

As NP-0 series video borescopes, they all have replaceable probes, the same 5" monitor, and replaceable rechargeable battery.

Note:

1. For these side-vew small diameter video borescopes, the focus range is set at very close intentionally for side wall surface inspections inside a small diameter tube, pipe, or holes. If you need a far focus side-view borescope, please contact us for customerization. 
2. The demand for a side-view borescope is relatively low. The lead time for these side-view borescopes maybe long due to the limited supply of the side-view camera modules. 
3. These are non-articulation side-view borescopes. If you need articulation type side-view video borescopes, check our CF series and VP series, all have a joystick articulation probes. 

Which diameter side-view video borescope to choose for your application? 

The side-view video borescopes are very expensive compared to their front-view cousins due to the high cost of the camera head modules. The key factors to consider to choose a side-view video borescope is the camera head/probe diameter and the focus range to get clear images, especially for small diameter tubes or holes. Here is a rough guide for your reference: if the tube / hole size is too small, the side-view borescope can only get blurry images due to short of focus distance (too close).

1. NP-0-3012S borescope 3mm diameter: Suitable for tubes size, ID 6mm / 0.24" and larger if you want to see the inner wall surface.
2. NP-0-1811S borescope 1.8mm diameter. Suitable for tube size, ID 4mm / 0.16" and larger
3. NP-0-1111S borescope 1.1mm diameter, Suitable for tube size, ID 3mm / 0.12" and larger.

How to reset the NP monitor if it has no image:

Issue: the NP monitor looks good, but no image on the screen with a good probe installed. 

Reset procedure:

1. Long press the "Ok" and power buttons at the same time until the monitor is on. 
2. A blue screen with long list of items comes up
3. Long press "Freeze" button to comes up "0/0" page
4. Press "menu" to go the setting page
5. Choose "about", press "ok" button, a short list of parameters comes up
6. Press the "upward" button, get to "0,0,0" value, then press "ok"
7. Press power button to turn off the monitor
8. Then turn the monitor on, it should work as a new.

There are other modes for the monitor for some special probes, and testing purpose.
