Vividia NP-R Rigid Non-Articulation Video Borescope is a series of rigid non-articulation videoscope with 0.95mm, 1.6mm, 2.8mm diameter probe head and 150mm long straight rigid probe insertion tube options and 5" NP display monitor.  The camera resolution is from 400x400 to 720x720 (depending on the camera head size)  and the LCD monitor has 5" screen with snapping and recording functions. The lighting source is built-in 5W LED light and optical fiber guide. The photos and videos are saved on a SD card. The probe is waterproof and stainless steel metal tube for wear and tear in harsh industrial environments. 

There are five products for NP-R series, rigid needle-like cameras i.e needlecam:

  • 0.85mm diameter 150mm long probe, NP-R-08515
  • 0.95mm diameter 150mm long probe, NP-R-09515
  • 1.6mm diameter 150mm long probe, NP-R-1615
  • 2.0mm diameter 150mm long probe, NP-R-2015
  • 2.8mm diameter 150mm long probe, NP-R-2815

* All probes are exchangeable. And replacement or spare probes are available for purchase.

* Larger the camera head diameter, brighter the lighting, higher the image resolution, stronger the probe, and more durable the insertion tube. So choose the largest diameter video borescope that can meet your application requirements. 

* If you need a shorter or longer probe, or different diameter probe, contact us for customerization. 

* For USB output options, choose the CX-R series. The CX-R series non-articulaiton rigid borescopes has no display, can be connected to a PC, tablet or phone. NP-R series has a 5" monitor.  The probes for CX-R and NP-R are the same. They are exchangeable.

Which camere probe and head to choose for your applications:

The largest camera head your applications allow. Larger the camera head, brighter the lighting, better the image quality, more durable the probe and camera head in general. 

 

How to reset the NP monitor if it has no image:

Issue: the NP monitor looks good, but no image on the screen with a good probe installed. 

Reset procedure:

1. Long press the "Ok" and power buttons at the same time until the monitor is on. 
2. A blue screen with long list of items comes up
3. Long press "Freeze" button to comes up "0/0" page
4. Press "menu" to go the setting page
5. Choose "about", press "ok" button, a short list of parameters comes up
6. Press the "upward" button, get to "0,0,0" value, then press "ok"
7. Press power button to turn off the monitor
8. Then turn the monitor on, it should work as a new. 

Reason for the mess up of the monitor
There are other modes for the monitor for some special probes, and testing purpose.
